The Importance of Banks Recognizing Pollution Risk

In this episode of our new series, John Reid, Vice President at Quaker Special Risk Insurance – a Jencap Company, and Matt Tomlinson, Regional Vice President at Berkley Environmental, chat about the importance of educating banks and lenders on best practices surrounding environmental risk exposures.

More often than not, environmental pollution policies are likened to discretionary purchases. By providing banks and lenders with the knowledge that having such policies in place may prevent significant liability and financial losses in the future, we hope to protect them in the long-run.

Ultimately, pollution may not frequently affect your business, but when something inevitably does go wrong, the severity play is real.
